On November 18th, Kris Deering, from Deep Dive AV (Deep Dive AV calibrated the JVC DLA-NX7 and shot a side-by-side comparison with the TVS Pro-modified Optoma UHZ65, known as the Theo-Z65 & Theo-Z65 Lite (Differences are discussed in a short video here).

Ted Bollinger

Ted Bollinger has been in the professional display and electronic imaging industry for over 40 years. He has worked with and consulted with most major manufacturers' engineering representatives of professional and consumer flat screen TVs and projectors. In addition, he helped engineer TV Specialists' Lumachrome ZIII recording system (the first recorder system to use a high-band Lumachrome recording system prior to professional SVHS Y/C professional recording systems) and the Wizard digital effect systems (the first A-B roll digital effects systems with dual time base correlators under $10,000). Most recently, he helped engineer the Theo-Z65 series projectors (upgraded UHZ65). He has been personally recognized, internationally, by the Matsushita family (of Matsushita Electric Industries - now Panasonic) - and has been recognized nationally by many other companies. He is currently semi-retired and is still serving TVS Pro as a consultant and projection display specialist.
